Heart Abortion is the first project by Suite42 a collaborative founded by Danielle Julian Norton and Tarrah Krajnak. The images in Heart Abortion are metaphors for the stages of a relationship. The doll-like figures mirror each other as they engage in absurd acts of ambiguity referencing sex, violence, and desire. The sterility of the setting and the uniforms also suggest a loss of identity and the tension between self and other.
